stablished as a family clown troupe in 1982 with their debut at the Open Door Theatre in Tulsa Oklahoma, the comedy team of Dreadzo, Daisy, Dipsy and Sky Pup was born.
What followed was a legacy of miles of smiles and loads of laughter.
After moving from Oklahoma to Florida, the troupe took on the name of Clowns at Large and began a nine year run of providing quality family entertainment for the greater Jacksonville Florida metropolitan area. Regular engagements included local network television, four malls, eight resorts and countless business and private bookings including television and motion pictures.
In 1992, the family and support staff relocated the business to Western North Carolina where they quickly established a reputation for providing quality entertainment under their new name of Mountain Circus Arts.
After a two years at Santa's Land theme park, the troupe turned its attention to education, establishing a role as clowning educators through the Mountain Arts Project which provided traveling art teachers to all the counties of Western North Carolina.
Since then, Mountain Circus Arts has provided entertainment for thousands of people at hundreds of events.
